John Brown's Truth is musically improvised musical theater using afro-caribbean, jazz, european classical, spoken word, and dance to tell the story of abolitionist John Brown's anti-slavery raid on Virginia 150 years ago. Created & written by William Crossman and directed by Michael Lange, with a Cast of talented professionals, this dramatic, timely performance will entertain the whole family. A production of Mimesis Theater Arts Company, a non-profit California 501c3. SPECIAL for Attendees: $1. off glass of sangria at Cafe Valparaiso in the La Pena Cultural Center venue.
