Open less than a year and unabashedly dedicated to more assertive Northwest beer styles, Twelve Bar's line-up features dry finishing, dry-hopped ales less focused on textbook balance than what tastes good. The Supertonic India Black Ale is a mighty marvel.

Birthed in 1981 in Seattle, the Woodinville facility brews 170k barrels annually, or about half of Redhook's national production. While retaining its perennial mainstays like Redhook ESB, Winterhook, etc., as well as their fine small batch house offerings, the brewery has launched a program to introduce more creative techniques and beers. 2011 WBC recognition. GABF recognition.
