Napoli is an Italian ballet set in the town of Naples and tells the story of a young woman named Teresina who falls in love with a fisherman, Gennaro. The happy couple receives permission to wed, but soon after there is a terrible storm which puts an end to all festivities happening in the town. When the storm ceases it is discovered that Teresina is missing. With the help of the towns' monk, Gennaro learns that Teresina is still alive and he sets out to save her from the evil Golfo, a Demon of the Ocean. Once he has found his beloved Teresina he discovers she has no memory of him. Gennaro must help her remember her past and escape from Golfo so that they are able to return to Naples and be married.
