FREE Bellevue College Planetarium Shows
SPRING QUARTER DATES: April 6, May 4, & June 1
SHOW TIMES: 7:30 & 8:30 PM

ABOUT "NEW HORIZONS":
From breathtaking landscapes to violent volcanic eruptions to the sheer beauty of Saturn's rings, explore the planets and moons of the solar system in a majestic journey through our celestial neighborhood. Audiences will travel down to the surface of the planets, and experience what life would be like from those brave new worlds. Our journey begins as we follow a comet as it travels through interplanetary space and ends on the icy world of Pluto.

Join us in the Willard Geer Planetarium at Bellevue College to view the show "NEW HORIZONS" and stay to take a brief tour of the night sky using our state-of-the-art Digistar 3 planetarium projector.  Each show will last approximately 55 minutes.

TICKETING PROCEDURES:

RESERVED SEATS:  Forty five (45) seats for each show will be released on Brown Paper Tickets (this website) ONE WEEK in advance of each show date starting at 8 AM.  There is a limit of 5 seats per reservation.

When you make a reservation your name will be added to our reserved seat list.  There are NO physical tickets for free shows.

WAITLIST:  If you are unable to reserve tickets online, you may sign up for the waitlist outside of the planetarium (Room B244) starting at 7:00 PM the night of each show.  All remaining seats in the planetarium (approximately 15 per show) will be given out to those on the waitlist on a first-come, first served basis.

This show is not appropriate for kids under the age of six.

No food or drink is allowed in the planetarium.

Because the room is dark during the show, there is NO late admission.

The Geer Planetarium at Bellevue College is the only community college planetarium in Washington state.  The planetarium's Digistar 3 projector can accurately reproduce the night sky any time of the year or night at any location within 900 light years of the Sun. It can show the stars position in three dimensions, and allow realistic journeys through space.

Free community planetarium shows at the Geer Planetarium are sponsored by the Science and Math Institute (SAMI) at Bellevue College.
