MAYHEM 2012: MAYA
Cape Sphere presents Mayhem 2012. A weekend-long, social, interactive music/performance/art experiment. Past the gate, no money changes hands. There are no vendors. there is no "main stage". You are the event. Pack everything in with you you will need to survive. Then, pack it out. This event is a Leave no trace Event.
It's 2012. Our Theme is Maya. The long-awaited question will be answered. Did the Mayan calendar predict the end of the world, or simply a new beginning? Or both.
Mayhem is a temporary village, and you, its inhabitants. The weekend is part expo, part social experiment. Come alone, or gather your friends and make a themed camp. Bring your art, skills, and your character. All are welcome.
Interpret our Maya theme in your perfromances, camp, art, or processions in any way imaginable. After all, this is your world...
but for how long??? Maybe the Maya were right.
