| Since 2001, spurn has performed to sold-out crowds, amassing a cultish following and a cast who blindly throw themselves into the most questionable of onstage antics, bless their black little hearts. NYTE writes that spurn has a "hard-edged, envelope-pushing, vaguely absurdist sensibility." The Village Voice says spurn "leaves its audience gasping for breath between guffaws as its relentlessly funny skits whip past", while Time Out NY proclaims spurn to be "Disgusting, horrifying, amusing." |
