eco-Volunteer @ Hillsborough River State Park
April 21, 2012. 8:30 am to noon Even though this event is FREE, please click the "I WISH TO BUY A TICKET". This event gives community groups the opportunity to show pride and encourages volunteerism by cleaning and beautifying parks, neighborhoods and shorelines. This is a project of Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful http://www.keeptampabaybeautiful.org. To see other cleanup site locations visit http://www.keeptampabaybeautiful.org/SiteList.shtml Fees: Free entrance to the state park for volunteers Special Instructions: Notify the staff at the Ranger Station that you're supporting the day. Meet at parking lot #4, at the state park Blazing Star pavilion. Park staff will outline event objectives and safety concerns. Clean-up ends at noon and trash will be inventoried for Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful. Park staff will outline park activities offer to volunteers for a "Thank You" for participating in this important event. Number of Volunteers: Limited to 50 Fees: Free entry into the park for supporting this event.
