The Urasenke Tradition of Tea
Japanese Garden Centennial Event
Soshitsu Sen, grand master of chado, or the Way of Tea, will give a lecture and demonstration on the rituals of the Japanese tea ceremony. Sen is the 16th-generation descendent of Sen Rikyu, the founder of the Way of Tea, a discipline that has been nourished and refined by the Japanese since the fifteenth century.
