West Coast Women's Permaculture Gathering 2012
Speak Out, Speak For, Speak Up! The power of words and the impact of listening. Using stories to engage, connect, promote, organize, explain, teach, facilitate, grow, dream, strengthen, heal, inspire, ... and create the world we want to live in.
September 20-23 of 2012 near Ashland, OR. Yummy meals are included from Thursday dinner through Sunday lunch! Topics include Women's leadership, social permaculture, self-care, and manifesting cultural change on a local and global scale. Enjoy presentations, panels, workshops, activities, design charrettes, mentoring, and casual conversation.
We have an amazing line up of extraordinary speakers and look forward to participants presenting their projects during the gathering. Spend a weekend with strong, committed women who share Permaculture ethics and vocabulary. Come connect, learn, and laugh! In a breathtaking space, surrounded by nature and amazing women, you will be inspired and invigorated.
Camp Latgawa is in a beautiful, wooded area of the Rogue National Forest. Two gentle flowing creeks and towering evergreens provide a peaceful setting. Bunk/dormitory style facilities are heated and have restrooms and showers either in the cabin or nearby. They serve home cooked, family-style meals in a cozy dining hall, including homemade breads/desserts and fresh salads. Facilities include: *Meeting spaces with video equipment *Basketball, volleyball, ping-pong *A solar heated pool (summer months only) *Campfire circle, swings, lawn, play-area *Hiking, creek swimming, scenic waterfall For more information about the venue visit http://latgawa.gocamping.org/
