David Herrera Performance Co's
DHPCo's 5th Home Season "Slumber" premieres in San Francisco at Dance Mission Theater on April 13-15, 2012. A site-specific modern dance theater production, Slumber is a transcendent journey into the liminal underworld where Death is Queen. Influence by Dia de los Muertos and loosely based on the Greek Orpheus Myth the production incorporates global cultural understandings of the afterlife, death, and life in this invigorating new tale.
