The Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) Workshop is an event intended to build on the information provided during the Puget Sound ASHRAE Lunch on 14 October.  It is a chance to understand the roles and responsibilities of the four major entities involved in the Integrated Project Delivery process; Owner/Developer, Contractor, Architect, and Engineer.
  E. Mitchell Swann, P.E. and local industry leaders will provide technical insight to the IPD process.  While attendees participate in a role-playing exercise to strategize and design a project in order to better understand the requirements each of the four major entities has to ensure a successful IPD project.
Speaker: E. Mitchell Swann, P.E Mr. Swann has experience in system design from concept development through construction, operations troubleshooting, master planning and expert witness consulting. He has served as liaison between the design and construction team during multiple projects and has been responsible for the successful field execution of the design intent, as well as the start-up of critical building systems. He is well versed in the various types of project execution approaches from traditional bid\spec to design\build and has prepared proposals and scope documents for all types of projects.
