Celebrate Chicago's 175th birthday, and the launch of Forgotten Chicago's fifth season of tours, with a once-every-175-years event of drinks, delicious food, and rarely, if ever, seen images and stories of Chicago's forgotten and overlooked built environment during FC175 on Saturday, March 31, 2012, from 7:00 to 10:00 PM.

Since 2007, Forgotten Chicago has explored the overlooked, unexpected and forgotten in the Chicago area, including articles and tours of little-known or researched areas such as industrial Lincoln Park, Little Village, West Town, and an in-depth tour of the then-intact Michael Reese Hospital campus just prior to its demolition for the 2016 Olympic Games. During FC175, we will also preview upcoming articles and announce our 2012 tour schedule - research and tours you won't find offered by any other organization.

Housed inside Chicago's Green Exchange, the country's largest sustainable business community, Greenhouse Loft is where FC175 guests will learn forgotten stories of Chicago's incredible history, all in a sustainable environment unlike anything in the country.

Since all three previous Forgotten Chicago special events sold out within a week of tickets going on sale, we recommend purchasing FC175 tickets well in advance.

Advance tickets purchased between March 28 and March 30 are $81.75.

All tickets include a three-hour open bar of beer and wine, delicious appetizers, rare music and forgotten fun!

Suggested attire for FC175 is Chicago Creative Casual, Non-Flapper and Gangster Division.

Easy Access to FC175: Using the CTA, Greenhouse Loft is easily accessed by the 24-hour #49 Western bus, the #76 Diversey bus, and bus transfers from the Brown and Blue Lines. For guests who are driving, Greenhouse Loft is adjacent to the Kennedy Expressway, and the surrounding neighborhood has non-metered, non-permit parking, 24 hours a day.
