2012 Pride Idol Presented by SMIRNOFF a Seattle Out and Proud Event
Do you find yourself singing in the shower? At the aisle in the grocery store? Are you a local karaoke star? Well if that's you than come and sing your heart out at 2012 Pride Idol!
Pride Idol is a citywide singing event produced by Seattle Out and Proud.
Pride Idol happens every Sunday night beginning April 1, 2012 at Seattle's very own Neighbours Nightclub located on Capitol Hill, 1509 Broadway. Doors open at 6 PM with community karaoke before the event. The event starts at 8PM with the fabulous Gaysha Starr as hostess. You will be judged by three people involved in the entertainment community in Seattle and one guest Judge each Sunday night. The judges this year are Shaun Knittel of the SGN, Sister Domine Trix member of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, and Kitty Kitty Bang Bang local actress and performer. Each week the winner will receive a $ 100.00 cash prize If you go all the way and become the next Pride Idol you receive a $1000.00 cash prize. The finale will be held on June 10 and the winner will perform at the Parade Pre-Show and on the Pride Idol Float in the Seattle Pride Parade on Sunday June 24, 2011.
This year we have shortened the competion to 8 regular nights and the wild card and final nights. The winner of each regular night goes on to the final and the 1st runner-up will go to the wild card. At the wild card the first place and 1st runner-up will move on to the finals to fill the 9th and 10th slot.

** NOTE: There is a $10.00 entry fee to compete. There is NO fee to come and watch!! Please invite all your friends! **
