Breaking the Mold with Matt Elwell
Each month a brand new Guest artist and Focus.
Often women find themselves outnumbered by men in the audition room, causing women to fall into unnecessary traps. This two hour training session is a high-impact workout of audition scenarios that often seem to throw off women and cost them the call back or even the job. You'll learn skills to interact with men and make your own space on the stage.
This workshop focuses on forging the audition space for women, making the callbacks and getting the job.
Biography
Matt Elwell, CPLP, is the President and CEO of ComedySportz of Chicago, Inc., and has been teaching improvisation to actors, improvisers, business people, educators, and students for over 10 years. As a performer, Matt has appeared with ComedySportz, Second City Theatricals, GayCo, WNEP, iO and Dave & Co, and has taught as an Associate Faculty Member of the Second City Training Center in Chicago.
Chicago Ladies in Comedy (Clic) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of women in comedy. Each month CliC offers interactive training workshops, designed to enhance the performer's skills on and off stage. Each month a new instructor and a new opportunity.
