The 2016 Washington Highbush Blueberry Workshop will focus on advances in horticultural management for the diverse conditions of Washington State. Topics include managing soil pH, irrigation systems, monitoring and management, nutrient management, and mulching. Updates on cost of production and machine harvesting for fresh market blueberries studies, as well as changes in labor laws, will also be provided.
The day-long workshop will be held at the Sue Lombard meeting room on the Central Washington University campus. Snacks and lunch will be provided.
This event is hosted by Washington State University and the Washington Blueberry Commission.
