Wish Upon a Star Fashion Show

Women of Color's mission is to help guide young women of all
colors discover their own identity in an ever-changing world
through Christ by raising awareness of the many challenges we face and conquering those obstacles with unification by way of service projects and outreach events. Our primary goal is to embrace our differences, empower one another, and unite as intellectually strong women so that we may leave a powerful mark on the world.
In celebration of beautiful and superb women everywhere Pepperdine University's Women of Color (WOC) is opening their facilities to students, staff, and surrounding communities to enjoy an evening celebrating women's fashion. The purpose of this fashion show is to accumulate funds for our scholarship, as well as a provide for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Founded in 1980, the Foundation is now the largest wish-granting charity in the world. Women of Color's theme for our 2nd annual fashion show was directly inspired by the Make-A-Wish Foundation. WOC has partnered with the Greater Los Angeles Chapter to donate a portion of the proceeds from our fashion show to the charity!
