presented by OTHER MINDS in cooperation with THE SWEDENBORGIAN CHURCH OF SAN FRANCISCO AND PIEDMONT PIANO COMPANY

The intimate candlelit surroundings of Bernard Maybeck's Swedenborgian Church (built in 1895) will be the scene of America's first-ever New Music Seance, presented by Other Minds, featuring hypnotic, spiritual and rarely-heard contemporary music that spans the period from Erik Satie#39s Gnossienne No. 5 (1889) through to the present.  The three concerts will feature five hours of solo piano music played by Sarah Cahill, with additional performances by Kate Stenberg, violin, with Swiss pianist Eva-Maria Zimmermann, including Charles Ives' Second Violin Sonata.  Tickets $20-50 sliding scale to benefit Other Minds.  Produced by Charles Amirkhanian, Executive & Artistic Director of Other Minds.
