A visually tense psychological thriller, The Bright Side of the Moon  opens as a sedan brings the kidnapped Parisa to an isolated cottage in the heart of a snow-bound forest. Kidnappers demand a $5million ransom from her husband, Behzad.  Gradually Parisa realizes that Behzad doesn't want to pay the ransom; she must save her own life.
