Conduit presents a curated evening of solos by four male movers and performers, featuring guest artist Bob Eisen who works out of NYC and St. Petersburg and, for this performance, travels to Portland for the first time. Bob Eisen's background in post-Judson Chicago dance scene parallels Gregg Bielemeier's celebrated background within the Portland dance milieu, each with their own take on movement often involving humor. Meshi Chavez' work is influenced by Butoh drawing on raw energy and visceral images, and Greg Sax adds perspectives from his work as a filmmaker, a Chinese medicine practitioner, improviser, and choreographer.
