Elektro Comedy Showcase
Please join your host Kristina McMillen as she debuts her first comedy showcase production Thursday January 9, 2012 at Odd Duck Studio on Capitol Hill. Come out for a night of fun and laughter as some of Seattle's funniest comedians take the stage for what is sure to be a night to remember.

Elektro Comedy Showcase will feature the talents of:

Mike Cummings has been entrenched in comedy since 2005: living, breathing, eating, and sleeping stage time; even living above a comedy club for two years. All that work has paid off. He is a funny, well-respected Seattle comedian, and a winner of the Giggles Laff Off.

Mike has a storyteller style of comedy. He is a recovering addict with more than twelve years clean. In his stand-up, he talks about his experiences with addiction and recover, his experiences with relationships and sex, his experiences with religion and politics. He shares his life on stage like it's a 12-step meeting. You'll laugh; he'll cry; everyone will need a shower.

A lover of B-movies, beer and spreadable foods, Elicia Sanchez is a stand-up comedian, video store employee and a card-holding member of the Iron Maiden fan club. With an ambiguous ethnic appearance, jokes about Star Trek and a name no one can fully pronounce, she has been balancing meager paychecks between comic books and happy hour while performing for/weirding out audiences in the Seattle area and surrounding cities since 2010.

She has opened for national touring headliners such as Jackie Kashian and Graham Elwood, as well as performed at the Bumbershoot Music and Arts Festival and Seattle's Crypticon. Elicia is currently a writer/member of the Seattle-based comedy troupe, Children of the Atom and the host of a weekly comedy podcast about s*@#$% movies titled, The Enematic Cinematic.

Bio Not Available

Manny Martin or "Manulis" if you know him by his government name first took the comedy stage in 2009 and since then he has established himself as one of the funniest up and coming young comedians in the Northwest. Known for his high energy, silliness and likeability, Manny has opened for some of the top comedians in the country.

Manny was a guest on Robert Kelly's "You Know What Dude" podcast (5/2/11) and was a featured guest on "Jay Hollingsworth's True Story Comedy Show" (5/25/11). Manny hosts the weekly Comic Search open mic at The Parlor Live comedy club and performs weekly all over the Seattle area. Follow Manny on Twitter and Facebook so you don't miss a chance to see this up and coming star!

And your host for the evening...

From the mean streets of Oakland.... Exitting the womb in hoop earrings, the first white girl from the east bay to graduate college, Kristina McMillen is lighting up audiences all over Seattle. She gives a fresh perspective on family and dating, making audiences relate to the awkward, fuzzy and sweet Kristina McMillen!
