Going Back: An Introduction to Yurts
An Introduction to Yurts Saturday, June 2 9:00am 11:00am
Consisting of a circular wooden frame with a canvas cover, yurts are growing in popularity around the US as a simple living homestead or retreat. Visit the yurt at Namekagon Waters Retreat with Hunt Hill as we learn the tips and tricks to constructing one. Participants will also enjoy tea, bread and goat cheese, foods you may find in the diet of Mongolian people who have been living in yurts for thousands of years.
