This 3-hour food tour takes you from cow to cone! We'll learn how to differentiate among different types of "frozen confections". At my favorite United Dairy Farmers Store, you'll start out by learning about the Ohio milk industry and how dairy stores changed the market. You'll learn techniques for appreciating ice cream flavor, consistency, and texture as you sample and compare commodity and high-quality ice creams. At Charlotte and Olivia's Sublime Ice Cream, you'll explore artisan, small-batch ice cream creation as you peek into the production area of a new ice cream purveyor.
