Mark Twain's The Diaries Of Adam And Eve (Fremont Centre Theatre, South Pasadena)
"Mark Twain's The Diaries Of Adam And Eve" is a rarely staged "mash-up" of two stories written 15 years apart, at very different points in Twain's life. This theatrical adaptation mash-up preserves the brilliant language that makes Mark Twain America's most original author and humorist. Our production is fashioned to compel audiences to rediscover the American humorist and the wisdom and perspective he brings to 21st Century America. It may be an "aged and moldy" story of creation, but this theatrical exploration uses a cast of eight racially and culturally diverse actors to play the Very First Couple -- Four separate couples explore Adam and Eve as they build their Garden Of Eden on a very American foundation. In all its joys and some of its sorrows, you'll find the essence of what Twain once referred to as "the damned human race." www.DiariesOfAdamAndEve.com , www.FremontCentreTheatre.com,
