Trends in Cleantech Video Conference - Redwood City
February 16,2012 8:30 am - 10:30am

Clean Tech is an emerging industry in the Silicon Valley and includes recycling, renewable energy, information technology, green transportation, electric motors, green chemistry, lighting, Greywater and many other energy efficient technologies. Clean Tech companies create electricity and fuels that generate a smaller environmental footprint and minimize pollution. This event will explore and detail the recent trends of building requirements for Clean Technology facilities.

Clean Tech manufacturing facilities have specific building requirements that are distinct to the industry. It is important to build these spaces with the environment as an upmost concern. Our speakers will outline some of the different requirements for Clean Tech building and will give suggestions on how we can mimic the Clean Tech industry clients in their practice to minimize our environmental footprint.

Our four speakers recently worked together to complete a 50,000 sq. ft. build-out for a confidential client in Fremont. The client is focused on the development of green lasers and LED's and required an aggressive timeline and strict budget. In discussing their experience on this project, as well as other similar projects, they will outline how to avoid costly mistakes in designing, engineering and constructing a cleantech facility.
