Description
Featherlead Productions presents the world premiere of a new play, The Breeze At Dawn, written by Lale Shafaghi.  Set in Tehran, Iran 2001, The Breeze At Dawn unwinds the tale of two women living in a world of shackled dreams and stifled passion.  Directed by Elisabeth Millican, the play features live music by Faraz Minnoie and Jason Ditzian.  Actors include Ali Mohamed El-Gassier, Baruch Porras-Hernandez, Claudia Rosa*, Natalia Rose Miner
(*Member of Actors Equity Association).  Set design by John Mayne, Lighting design by Allen Willner, Costume design by Lale Shafaghi and Prop design by Claire Mack.  This production is supported in part by grants from the San Francisco Arts Commission, Theatre Bay Area CA$H Grants, Zellerbach Family Foundation, and Meet the Composer.
