"The Great Warm Up: Fighting Stage Fright" with Scotty The Blue Bunny
Getting ready for performance means different things to different people and in this workshop we will cover many techniques to get you ready for your best show. Expect to stretch, do stage drills, and share stories of anxiety and success in a safe space. If you have a yoga mat - bring it, or at least a large towel to lay on, and ugly comfortable clothes. Open to all levels, some previous stage experience is helpful. Max 30 students. Register in advance for the best price!

About Scotty:
Since 1996 Scotty the Blue Bunny has performed his special brand of spandex-clad spectacles from Nashville, Tennessee (Panty Raid Burlesque) to Helsinki Finland (Helsinki Burlesque Festival). He sings, speils, offends, cajoles, fiddles, twirls baton, and busts really big balloons with his butt. Basically, he's gotten a lot farther in a bunny suit than anyone should.
Hosted major events (Yard Dogs Roadshow at the Filmore, SF, Dresden Dolls at Webster Hall, NYC, 9 years of the New York Burlesque Festival NYC, Hootchie Kootchie Club Stockholm Sweden, and Pride of the Greater Lehigh Valley, PA) as well as been a featured performer in the world's finest Cabaret presentations (La Clique in the World Famous Speigeltent at NYC and the Sydney Festival, Supperlcub SF, Amsterdam, and London, 3 national tours with the Bindlestiff Family Cirkus and Teatro Zinzanni's Mezzo Lunatico, Seattle WA).
Photographed by Terry Richardson, featured in Ad campaigns, perhaps Scotty's biggest acheivement so far might be appearing as a hallmark greeting card. In any case Scotty has been there done that in a bunny suit and can't wait to continue. Look for new productions of his solo cabaret "The Rabbit of your Dreams" on tour in 2012.
