Crowded House is an explosion of William Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale. Audience members will follow a tour guide, room to room, exploring an environment of jealousy, rage, death, love, and life. This experiential "translation" remixes Shakespeare's original story by means of sound, object, bodies, and creative juiciness.
A directing ensemble of 9 of the top young directors in Chicago welcomes you into this extraordinary theatrical event. Get affected, excited, inspired, take a breather, and finally party your ass off at A Crowded House.
This event begins at the Blue Line Lounge in Wicker Park and travels to the Wicker Park Art Center just a few blocks away!
