Violent Death and Its Shadow of Traumatic Grief: From Seattle to the Middle East
Dr. Rynearson's presentation will clarify the salient narrative themes of violent dying and their specific effects on trauma and separation distress, and describe the intervention he developed, Restorative Retelling, now used by clinicians in a wide spectrum of national and international treatment centers including local, regional and national trauma clinics, prisons, 9/11 support programs in New York City and community support programs in the Middle East.
