The Glass Menagerie by Tennessee Williams
One of the most revered plays of the 20th century, by one of America's greatest playwrights -- Tennessee Williams -- this timeless classic set in 1930's St. Louis centers on family: living with them, standing by them, escaping them, and loving them anyway. Poetic and frustrated Tom is desperate to escape the confines of his family's small St. Louis apartment, his domineering mother and shy, slightly damaged sister. A visit by a gentlemen caller could change their lives for the better. But will it? Performances: Thurs.-Sat. 8 p.m., Sun. at 2 p.m.
