| Description |
Presented by 3 Sticks Theatre Company From the same company who brought the Fringe hits Borderlines and Mythed, 3 Sticks returns with a new comedy by MacArthur "Genius" Award winning playwright Sarah Ruhl. This regional premiere takes a hilarious look at the American traditions of happiness (and sadness) as five actors and one cellist tell the story of Tilly, a melancholy bank teller, who has a way of making everyone fall madly in love with her. Come see what the Chicago Times says "mixes the absurdity of Pirandello and Fellini and the edgy prettiness of Edna St. Vincent Millay. Off-beat, lyrical, and just a little bit nutty..." With Jason Ballweber, Jason Bohon, Katie Melby, Katie Kaufmann, & Ann Zander. Directed by Eric Holm. |
