Butterfield 8 presents - An Evening of SAKI: The Short Stories of H. H. Munro
An Evening of SAKI: The Short Stories of H. H. Munro
A Reader's Theater adapted for Butterfield 8 by Donald L. Hardy
Join us at Cue Productions Live for an evening celebrating the mischievous, witty, and sometimes macabre short stories of Saki. This master of the short story frequently satirized Edwardian culture and society, and influenced such writers as Noel Coward and P.G. Wodehouse
This one night fund-raising event features our popular "tea table" setting, where you can enjoy a complimentary cup of tea while listening to "The Open Window," "Tobermory", and more. Additional beverages and appetizers will also be available. And, as always, the evening includes our ever-popular prize drawing (Peet's coffee, wine, and tickets to the upcoming B8 show of your choice)!
An Evening of Saki is one night only, Saturday, January 28, 2011, at 8PM
Featuring: Jean Butterfield, Alan Cameron, Carter Chastain, Deborah Doyle, Donald Hardy, and Maureen-Theresa Williams.
