Laughing for Literacy Luncheon
A hysterically fun afternoon of laughter at the legendary comedy venue Carolines on Broadway. Hosted by comedian, TV and radio personality Karith Foster, and joined by well-known comedians Ted Alexandro and Karen Bergreen.
This guaranteed time of fun is the perfect way for philanthropic corporations and individuals to share a lunchtime with friends and colleagues, while supporting an incredibly worthwhile organization.
For an extra $50, stay after lunch (2:00-2:30 PM) and meet Caroline Hirsch and the comedians! Just add an "Up Close" ticket to your order!
Note: "Up Close" tickets are not luncheon tickets and cannot be purchased on their own.

The mission of the Books for Kids Foundation is to promote literacy among all children with a special emphasis on low-income and at-risk preschool-aged children. Books for Kids creates libraries, donates books, and partners with literacy programs to develop the critical early foundation and skills which young children need to be successful in life.
