Shoot. Learn. Enjoy Portland.

Do you want to tell compelling stories with your images? Learn the basic fundamentals of photojournalism while photographing street performers, vendors, details and wide angle street scenes at the Portland Saturday Market. Perfect for beginner to advanced hobbyist.

Participants discover how to chose a moment and capture the height of an action. You will learn how to tell a story with your photos through facial expressions, posture, movement, emotion, layers, composition and light.

F-stops and shutter speeds, as well as other photography basics, are briefly reviewed. There will be a 20 min lesson before heading out to practice what you've learned.
