Chili Saves Lives
The 2nd Annual Chili Cook Off is a fundraiser for HealthCorps, a proactive health movement founded by heart surgeon Dr. Mehmet Oz. HealthCorps is fighting the obesity and mental resilience crisis in 55 high schools across 12 states by getting American students and communities to take charge of their health.
At the heart of HealthCorps is its Coordinators. Through the HealthCorps program, the Coordinator becomes a full-time advocate for an individual HealthCorps high school. Each Coordinator works with a school site to meet the needs of the school community. The benefits from the 2nd Annual Chili Cook Off support the cause of HealthCorps and its Coordinators.
