Diane Cluck w/ Paul Rome
Storefront Bushwick is pleased to announce a performance series at the gallery curated by Margaret Dearden.

Join us Monday, February 6 as we open our doors at 7 to lovers.  Guests will be invited to remove their boots, sip chamomile, and share an intimate, integrated space with the performers.  No stage. Stripped down. Pure open ear love. Like having gentle elves in your living room.

Diane was recently on NPR and we are so happy for her! Dig deeper:
"A Singular Vision, Sung Sweetly"

Sponsored by Bushwick Daily and Japam Recording Studio.

Diane Cluck has been performing her original brand of intuitive folk around New York City and the wider world since 2000. Her songs have been noted for their "irregular, or even cellular, logic" (Other Music), her singing compared to "the broken coo of an outraged owl or howling bark of a horny dove" (Voodoo-Eros). Diane's six home-recorded albums have received international distribution and acclaim; songs from her album, "Oh Vanille / ova nil" appeared in the film "Margot at The Wedding" and the U.K. television series, "Skins". She has toured both the U.S. and Europe, most recently with drummer Anders Griffen, and the band Cocorosie. Known for oblique vocal harmonies on recording, her live show focuses on singing as a healing, textural experience, leaving space in which listeners may wander, ponder or simply be.

Writer Paul Rome lives in Bushwick and will open with a short story read aloud with musical accompaniment.

THIS IS A RESERVATION FOR "SEAT" AT STOREFRONT. There will be a blanketed floor, for shoes-off seating, Bring Your Own PILLOW!
You will have a guaranteed spot on Storefront wood floor.

Strongly Suggested $11 DONATION AT DOOR.

Reservation expires ten minutes before performance.

This is an all-ages event.

You may BYOB but the bottles must be BROWN BAGGED so we don't get fined. Thanks!
