The Marc Black Band features a unique blend of some of the greatest talent to come out of the Hudson Valley over the past few decades. Marc is an eclectic folk-rocker whose latest CD, Pictures of the Highway, reached #6 on the Folk DJ Chart. And, over the past few years, he's recorded with an array of luminaries including Art Garfunkel, Taj Mahal, Richie Havens, Rick Danko and Garth Hudson.
But that's just the beginning. Also in the band... Warren Bernhardt (from Steely Dan and Simon & Garfunkel) on keys; Mike Esposito (a founding member of the Blues Magoos) on bass; Eric Parker (from the Joe Cocker and Stevie Winwood Band) on drums; Don Davis (who's band, Microscopic Septet, came in #5 in this year's Downbeat poll) on sax; and the beautiful chanteuse, Amy Fradon, adding a touch of heaven with her backing vocals. Plus, you never know who'll drop in! At one of their recent shows, John Sebastian, Garth Hudson and Marco Benevento all sat in!
