The McKrells return to the Towne Crier, featuring Kevin McKrell (vocal & guitar), his daughter Katie (vocal & bodhran) and Brian Melick (percussion). Kevin McKrell has been working the regional, national and international music scene for many years ...probably 30, but who needs to hear that (certainly not Kevin!). He has been a member of Donnybrook Fair, The Fabulous Newports, Hard Times and The McKrells. His songs have been recorded and or performed by The Kingston Trio, The Fureys Brothers & Davey Arthur, North Sea Gas, Woods Tea Company, Hair of The Dog, Pat McKernan and Seamus Kennedy. He has performed at Folk, Bluegrass and Celtic Festivals around the world, including the Winterhawk Bluegrass Festival, Falcon Ridge Folk Festival and the Irish 2000 Festival. Kevin has also performed on the stages of some of the worlds most prestigious venus, including Carnagie Hall, Troy Music Hall and Berklee Performance Hall.
Bob Stump & The Blue Mountain Band, whose sound has been described as a missing link between Hank Williams, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash and Bill Monroe, is committed to making great music with traditional instruments. Featuring the warm vocals and presence of Bob Stump, they deliver a diverse song selection, including bluegrass, country blues, folk, western swing, country standards, instrumentals and original music.
* We do not reserve specific tables except for TCC members, when possible (see membership benefits). * Tables closest to the stage are held for dinner guests. * The earlier you arrive, the greater the selection. The Towne Crier Cafe is an intimate room, and there are no bad seats. * "Show Only" tables are assigned after those reserved for "Dinner & Show" parties. * Recommended time for an enjoyable, relaxed dining experience: Party of 2: One hour before show time Party of 3 or 4: Two hours before show time Party of 5 or more: At least two and one half hours before show time. * $2 handling & processing charge per ticket. * All sales are final.
