An Intimate Evening with Alex Grey...
The Oracle Gatherings and Stonehouse Books are excited to invite you to an intimate evening with visionary artists and performers, Alex and Allyson Grey. Originally planned as a small dinner, based on the response it was opened up to a slightly larger audience with a reduced ticket price. This is Seattle's first opportunity to receive these amazing artists. An intimate group of guests will have the opportunity to enjoy an evening with Alex and Allyson where they will share their current and future projects surrounding our diverse spiritual and visionary culture. Alex Grey is best known for his brilliantly colored and finely detailed transcendental portrayals of human bodies that blend scientific exactitude with visionary depictions of life energy using bones, nerves, blood vessels, chakras, and auras in intricately transparent layers. Allyson Grey explores the energetic template of the universe using the basic geometric form, the square. For examples of their work please visit http://www.cosm.org .
THE EVENING
Attendees will enjoy leisurely conversation with the Greys over vegetarian, vegan, and raw foods hors d'oeuvres created by Laurien Gillman, original creator of the Gravity Bar, and Miles Teitge. Satya, featuring Rupinder Sidhu on percussion and Jeremiah Klein on Sitar, will set the mood by providing live, acoustic musical entertainment. Dessert creations offered by The Flying Apron and Chaco Canyon Cafe. Alex and Allyson Grey will share their expanding work in their new galleries, the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors and the Microcosm Gallery in New York City, as well as future projects in the works.
TICKETS:
Cost per person: $75 - Each ticket includes admission for one to the Oracle Gatherings: King's Chamber on Saturday, October 29, 2005.
