Safe Fire Play for Beginners!
So, always wanted to see if your partner would like a lick of fire over the torso, but didn't want to have the local fire department banging on your apartment door? Bored with impact play and wanting to see what other sensual thrills you can deliver or experience? Swing by The Looking Glass on December 4th for an introduction by Grizzly in ways to play sensually with fire.
This will be a 3 hour class combining talk (yes, including fire safety), demonstration, and students' hands-on fire play. Bringing a friend is suggested, but if you come solo, you'll be asked to pair up for the hands-on portion of the day. While fire baton use, fire transfer, fire balling (ignited aerosol blasts), fire mousseketeering and other means of sensual fire application will be explored in the class, emphasis will be on fire balling play.
(Wear what you like, but loose, comfortable, and easily removable clothing is suggested, especially since fire is best on skin. Clothing made with natural fibers and NOT synthetics is also best, since no one likes meltdowns. Also furry folk should be aware that crop circles are a good thing!)
Instructor Bio:
Grizzly has been fascinated by fire since a lad, and has been playing with it since he almost burned his parent's house down at age 7. He's since then learned some fire safety and control methods, and thinks it's a nice idea to share. His safety training includes First Responder/Wilderness training and Red Cross Instructor training. His BDSM background has had him dabbling in what interesting ways he could find to orchestrate partners' pleasures since he first discovered rope as a young 'un twisting his own at a Boy Scout Jamboree; finding out that you don't hit others over the kidneys with floggers in the late Eighties; and DMing at play parties since the late Nineties. Grizzly has taught subjects including shibari rope play, caning, flogging, other BDSM favorites, and has been hosting munches and "Grizzly's Bullwhips by the Bay" (a twice-monthly singletail workshop) for several years in San Francisco.
