Winter Wonderland Horse Drawn Wagon Rides
Join a Seward Park Audubon Naturalist for a horse drawn wagon ride around Seward Park during the Winter Wonderland Wagon Rides scheduled on Saturday, December 10th, 17th, and 24th.
Amongst the scenery of the magnificent old growth forest and our beautiful Lake Washington, Audubon staff will make nature and winter come alive. Participants will learn about the human and natural history of the park and hear about some of the legends and lore of pacific northwestern animals and plants in winter.
We'll share the exciting stories and information about the plants, animals and even people of Seward Park in the winter. Plus you'll get to take a leisurely and cozy horse drawn wagon ride around the loop road.
Guided hayrides will leave from the Seward Park Audubon Center hourly, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The hayrides will last approximately 45 minutes and will be conducted regardless of weather conditions unless deemed unsafe.
Space on the wagons is limited. Advance reservations are recommended and can only be made on Brown Paper Tickets. The cost is $15.00 per person (ages 2 and up). Bring the family, comfortable clothing for the weather, and a sense of adventure and wonder!
About - Located at the entrance to Seward Park, the Seward Park Environmental & Audubon Center provides family and community programming and science enhancement programs for middle and high school students in SE Seattle.
