Seattle will sparkle in this 2-hour walking tour through five downtown districts. The tour begins in the city's "soul," the Pike Place Market, and ventures on to breathtaking viewpoints, timeless towers and surprising rooftop terraces. Your guide will share favorite stories from Seattle's recent past and its rowdy beginnings. We'll familiarize you with Seattle's neighborhoods, show you how to "get around town" using public transit and recommend our favorite eateries and watering holes. By the end of the tour, you'll be ready to take on Seattle By Foot!
The City Tour meets at the Information Booth at the entrance to Pike Place Market on 1st Ave and Pike St. Please be there 10 minutes early to check in with guide.
Dress for the weather! You can't let the rain stop you in Seattle! It can rain, snow and be sunny all in one afternoon. We wear layers to help us easily adjust to whatever Mother Nature throws at us. Even though you won't see many umbrellas in Seattle, be comfortable, wear walking shoes and bring your umbrella.
