Rochester Oratorio Society; Spirit of The Dance
We're singing about dancing this irresistibly energetic evening. The ROS starts the tune with Bizet's light and lilting "Valse avec Choeur". The richness of woodwinds fills out our unique version of Brahm's beloved "Liebslieder" Waltzes, with original choreography by Missy Pfohl Smith. Then, BIODANCE takes the stage for the world premiere performance of Scherzo, a new work by internationally recognized choreographer, and SUNY-Brockport artist, Bill Evans., set to the music of Brahms.
