Brass, Bells & Candlelight
Traditional Christmas music with a modern touch fills the resplendent sanctuary of Third Presbyterian Church. The ROS festival brass and the ROS's own chamber ensemble, Resonanz, set the pace in the thrilling "Adam lay ybounden" by Rochester's own Carson Cooman. Sweet children's voices, seasonal readings offered y Ms. Julia Figueras, dance-inspired and brilliant selections for choir and brass arranged by Eric Townell, the stirring "Christmas Cantata" of Daniel Pinkham and a jazzy setting of "We Three Kings" round out an inspiring, fun and heart-warming concert. Raise your voices with the ROS in a suite of favorite carols to ring in the season.
