Joanna Powell Colbert Workshop: 20th Annual Women of Wisdom Conference
Gaian Tarot ~ Healing Ourselves, Healing the Earth
The practice of Gaian (earth-centered) spirituality is based on both giving and receiving spiritual sustenance from Mama Gaia, the natural world. Learn about the inspiration behind the Gaian Tarot and how it differs from other tarot decks. Learn spreads and practice reading for our own personal healing and transformation. Learn to do "wisdom readings" that will guide us into healing the earth. Bring any tarot deck (Gaian if you have one).
Joanna Powell Colbert is a Bellingham artist, writer and teacher known internationally for her mythic art. The Gaian Tarot, 9 years in the making, combines her love of symbolic art and the natural world. The deck was created during the decade Joanna lived on Lummi Island near Bellingham, where daily encounters with the mysteries of the natural world continue to inspire and inform her work. www.gaiantarot.com

This event has WOW member and non member prices. You can become a member of Women of Wisdom at the website: www.womenofwisdom.org. There are also special prices for teens, seniors, and students.

It will be helpful if you study the conference events there first, and be ready to register your selections at Brown Paper Tickets. All workshops are at North Seattle Community College and parking is free. Special evening events are held at Seattle First Baptist Church.
Men are invited to attend the evening events - Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, Feb. 16th-18th, and workshops on Sunday, Feb. 20th from 7:00 - 10:00pm. All other events are women only.
Registration will be available on site during the conference. Many workshops will still have space available, and evening events will have tickets available at the door. If any events are sold out we will list that here, or on voice mail, 206-782-3363. It's best to come to the conference and find out what's available.
