Topics include:

Lessons learned from current poplar growers.  Case studies from three communities in the Willamette Valley.

Poplar Markets:

Traditional and Emerging -- chips and hogfuel, veneer, and cross laminated timber.

Alternative -- bioenergy, biofuels, and biochemicals.


Strategies for growing poplar:  choosing stock/cuttings, planting practices and costs, sizing rotations.

Moving forward:  optimizing poplar revenues, working together with stakeholders.
