Burlesque Master Class in Denver!!!
Coco Lectric delights Denver with an exclusive 2 hour master class at the beautiful Savoy at Curtis Park dance studio. She will be teaching classic burlesque moves and choreography with an additional emphasis on the origins of these movements.
The feathers go flying in this fun review of classic boa technique with a twist. Learn to wear your boa with pride and become a boa wielding pro. Coco also teaches basic dance steps, turns and walks to accompany boa technique. The class includes a short dance combination. Wear comfortable clothing that you can stretch in. Coco won Texas Performer of the Year, 2010; the Queen of Burlesque title at the New Orleans Burlesque Festival 2010; won 2nd Runner Up at Viva Las Vegas 2011 and has performed at the Burlesque Hall of Fame for the last two years. Don't miss what burlesque legend, Satan's Angel calls "The best boa work in the business."
In addition to boa work, Coco teaches you the origins of the bump and grind from belly dance technique to hula, Latin styles and even a bump session to African drums. American burlesque has taken a hint from fertility dances from all over the world and Coco will bring it all together for you. Basic classic walks and poses will also be reviewed. Don't miss what Coco already taught Montreal, Seattle, San Francisco, and Las Vegas! This course was presented at BurlyCon 2011 in Seattle. Bring comfortable clothing that you can stretch in.
