David Templeton's Twisted Christmas Live No. 9
It's year number NINE for this popular annual lit-comedy-variety show, featuring off-the-wall holiday stories read aloud, on stage, by some of the Bay Area's funniest people! Along with outrageous Christmas-themed music by You-Tube sensation Roy Zimmerman, comic seasonal observations, bizarre gift giveaways, and a tribute to the weirdest Christmas song ever, this year's show features performances of the revolutionary elf manifesto 'Burn Christmas, Burn!' Grace Paley's lovingly off-kilter 'The Loudest Voice,' David Templeton's subversive fable 'Christmas in the Dormitory of the Gods,' the escalating insanity of 'Twelve Days of Christmas: a Correspondence,' and the much-anticipated reading of the Gingerbread Horror Classic 'Crumbs at Midnight.' Hosted by North Bay journalist David Templeton, this show is a benefit for the Redwood Empire Food Bank.
