Almost Adults: A Collection of 5 Short Plays About Sex, Love, and Immaturity

These highly regarded and award winning shorts explore the journeys of the young (and not so young) on the difficult road to maturity. Issues of gay marriage and parenting, coming out and coming of age, teen disenfranchisement, and the journey of self-awareness are explored.

**Proclamation read by the Mayor's offce at the event, declaring September 18th, 2015 "Almost Adults: LGBTQ Theatre Day"!

CAST includes Malcom Jamar Morgan, Elias Gallegos, Richard Parker, Cristina Vigil, Giacomo Zafarano, David Daniel, Gabe Rak, Michael Guajardo, Mark Westberg and Danette Sills.

WHAT'S IT ABOUT:
Find out what swinging couples, Shirley Temple movies, stolen Playgirl Magazines and 1968 Hollywood have in common. The five short LGBTQ plays explore sexual insecurities, boundary issues, the rules of desire, and what it means to become a grown-up on the rocky road from adolescence to adulthood in a society that offers little guidance.

Funded in part by Santa Fe Community Foundation's "Envision Fund", this production will be the first presentation in Santa Fe of the five collected plays. These highly regarded one-act comedies and dramas, 3 of which are published, have been performed in New York City and Provincetown, MA.
