Written and Directed by Georgia Houston Webb Music by Ayinde Pendleton Webb (featuring Original Song "I Believe in Love" by Branice McKenzie) Special Guest Appearance by Daryl Coley Sponsored by THE AMERICAN LEGION, EAST OAKLAND POST 471 Produced by Webb Connections "A Little Piece of God" is a musical - a two-act play of rhyming poems, sometimes spoken, other times song and sometimes roles are delivered through dance. The story is energetically introduced by the character "Life" who gives a hint of the mystery found in our existence. The evil forces of human nature - Worry, Disillusionment, Fear, Judgment, Doubt, Greed, Prejudice, Crime, Chaos, Guilt, War, and Death try to drag "A Little Piece of God" (who insists on maintaining a positive perspective on Life) into a life of misery. Eventually, the forces of Friendship, Love and Peace prevail. Laced with dance and comedy, "A Little Piece of God" is a heartfelt piece with an essential joy of expression in the face of the problems of our existence.
