Join us October 20th at 8pm for a benefit extravaganza for Phffft! at The Engine Room in Georgetown featuring site-specific performances by the company and guest artists, the Bossa Nova sounds of Flora McGill, live painting, dance video projections, wine and bites, a raffle and silent auction with donated items such as spa packages, restaurant certificates, tickets to the city's famed performance venues, massage, dance classes, studio rehearsal time, even a Playstation II...and much much more.
The company and area artists will create a site-specific art experience for The Engine Room in the industrial-retro brewhouse (built in the late 1800's and recently renamed the Georetown Brewery). Performances will be followed with dancing and revelry. The Engine Room is located in the 5800 block of Airport Way South (at Doris Street South) in Georgetown across the street from the Georgetown Ballroom. Free parking will be provided on location. |
